Logs Reference

Reference for the 8 log surfaces in AlloyScan: 5 site-level logs plus 3 global logs.

Scope

Site-level logs

Audit log

Grid conventions

  • All log grids support column filter, sort, and pick.
  • Grids share the default 1000-row cap. Click Load all to override (performance-heavy on long histories).
  • Use the toolbar's filter to narrow by date range, Initiator, Status, or other column values.

Constraints

  • Not every configuration-plane action necessarily produces an entry in the Change log or Security log. Operational and service accounts can bypass entity metadata tracking.
  • A missing log menu entry can indicate that the surface is not enabled for the deployment, not just an RBAC issue.
