Logs Reference
Reference for the 8 log surfaces in AlloyScan: 5 site-level logs plus 3 global logs.
Scope
This page covers both:
- Site Settings > Logs for one current Site
- App Management > Logs for instance-level visibility
Site-level logs
Located at Admin Center > Site Settings > Logs > *.
Audit log

The Audit log supports export at two levels:
- From the main grid, export all records in CSV or XLSX format.
- Open an Audit log entry to download it as a TXT file or export all device-level records in CSV or XLSX format.

Grid conventions
- All log grids support column filter, sort, and pick.
- Grids share the default 1000-row cap. Click Load all to override (performance-heavy on long histories).
- Use the toolbar's filter to narrow by date range, Initiator, Status, or other column values.
Constraints
- Not every configuration-plane action necessarily produces an entry in the Change log or Security log. Operational and service accounts can bypass entity metadata tracking.
