Administration Guide

About Site Settings

Site Settings is the per-Site administration surface in AlloyScan. Everything you change here applies only to the current Site — the tenant identified by the slug in the URL — and does not change any other Site on the same instance.

Use Site Settings when you are operating one tenant at a time: updating the current Site's identity, managing users, configuring schedules and credentials, maintaining tools and tags, reviewing live task queues, and checking per-Site logs and limits.

What belongs here

The Site Settings tab groups the current Site's admin work into these areas:

  • Organization profile — site identity, Site URL, avatar, and Site limits summary
  • IAM — users, App registrations, and SSO providers
  • Settings — schedules, credentials, change tracking, snapshot storage, and other per-Site operational settings
  • Customization — tools, tags, custom audit fields, and custom software recognition
  • Tasks and services — Active tasks, Audit Services, and Audit Agents
  • Notifications — per-Site notification templates and subscriptions
  • Logs — site-scoped audit, scan, notifications, change, and security logs
  • Limits and usage — per-Site quota and consumption view

Site Settings vs App Management

The most important distinction in the Admin Center is this:

  • Site Settings changes one Site
  • App Management changes instance-level configuration shared across Sites

If you are asking "Will this affect only the current tenant, or all tenants on the instance?", you are deciding between these two tabs.

Use Site Settings for tenant-local administration. Use App Management when you are operating a multi-Site deployment and need to manage shared/default/instance-wide configuration.
