About Active Tasks

Use Admin Center > Site Settings > Tasks and services > Active tasks to watch live work that AlloyScan is currently running for the Site.

Scope

This is a per-Site operational surface. It reflects the current queue of scan and audit work for one Site, not historical logs for the whole instance.

What this page is for

The Active tasks page answers:

• what is running right now
• what is queued and waiting for capacity
• whether the Site's Audit Services are keeping up
• whether a task should be cancelled before it finishes

It is the live companion to the durable Scan log and Audit log pages.

What appears here

The grid shows in-flight work such as:

• ad-hoc scans
• ad-hoc audits
• schedule-driven runs
• segment-triggered tasks

Rows stay here while work is active. Terminal results move into the Scan log or Audit log.

Why this page matters

This surface is usually the first place to check when:

• the Dashboard looks slow to refresh
• audit work seems backed up
• a scan or audit looks stuck
• an administrator needs to cancel a running task
