How to run a multi-site report

This guide shows you how to render a report whose scope spans multiple tenant sites in a multi-site AlloyScan installation.

Prerequisites

  • You can sign in to AlloyScan as a Global Administrator. Multi-site reports are visible only at the instance scope and are not exposed to per-site administrators or users.
  • The instance hosts more than one site, and each site contains the inventory the report draws on.
  • At least one multi-site report template exists. The Multi-site reports surface uses the same grid structure as the per-site Reports list, with Name and Description columns plus + New and Upload actions.

Steps

  1. Open Admin Center.
  2. Switch to the App management tab.
  3. In the global sidebar, select Multi-site reports.
  4. Locate the template you want to run. Use the Default View selector or the search box to narrow the list.
  5. Click the report Name to open the Report viewer.
  6. Confirm the mode toggle shows PREVIEW. The viewer aggregates data across sites and renders the report.
  7. Use the Stimulsoft-style toolbar to navigate pages, zoom, search, print, or download — the controls behave the same way as for per-site reports.
  8. To author a new cross-site template, click + New or Upload on the Multi-site reports toolbar. Editing the layout follows the DESIGN-mode workflow described in How to design a custom report.

Verify

  • The Report viewer renders content rather than showing a red error banner.
  • Records in the output reflect data from more than one site (where applicable to the template).
  • The Multi-site reports list reflects any new or uploaded template.

Note: If you cannot see Multi-site reports under Admin Center > App management, your account is not a Global Administrator. Per-site reports remain available under Reports on the left rail.
