How to change regional formats

This guide shows you how to adjust how AlloyScan displays dates, times, and grid row counts for your account.

Regional formats are per-user. Initial defaults derive from your browser locale; the settings below are the user-level opt-in for explicit overrides.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to AlloyScan.

Steps

  1. Click your avatar + name in the top-right of the header.

  2. Click Manage your account. AlloyScan opens the account settings page in a new browser tab.

  3. In the account settings, open the Settings section. You see three cards:
    • Grid options
    • Date format options
    • Time format options
  4. To change how grids load:

    • Set Number of rows per page (default 25).
    • Set Optimal row count (default 1,000). For optimal performance, this caps the number of records retrieved.
  5. To change date formatting, set the Date format options:

    • 2-digit year — toggle to display the year as two digits.
    • Abbreviate month — toggle to display the month name in abbreviated form.
  6. To change time formatting, set the Time format options:

    • Display seconds — toggle to include seconds in time values.
    • 24-hour format — toggle to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour clocks.

Verify

  • Open any grid (for example, Inventory > Computers) and confirm the row-count and date / time columns reflect your new settings.
  • Sign out and back in; settings persist across sessions.
