About Notifications (admin)
Use Admin Center > Site Settings > Notifications to manage notification behavior for the current Site.
This admin area covers two different surfaces:
- Notification templates — what the Site sends
- Subscriptions — who on the Site receives which notifications and through which channels

Scope
Everything in this section is per-Site. Edits here affect only the current Site.
This is different from:
- App management > Notification templates — active global templates for instance-scope events
- App management > Site template > Notification templates — defaults copied into newly created Sites
Why this distinction matters
Three surfaces can look similar but do different jobs:
