About Tag Management

Use Admin Center > Site Settings > Customization > Tag management to maintain the per-Site catalog of tags that operators can apply to devices.

Scope

Tag management is per-Site. A tag created in one Site is not available in another Site.

What this area is for

Use Tag management when you need to:

  • create tags for filtering and reporting
  • maintain the Site's controlled tag catalog
  • review tag usage across devices
  • support manual tagging and auto-tagging flows

How the model works

The tag catalog defines the available tag records. Those records can then be applied:

  • manually on device records
  • automatically from Segment auto-tagging
  • automatically from Audit Agent auto-tagging

Deleting a tag from the catalog removes it from every device that carries it.
