About Billing and License
Billing and license is the App Management area that explains the commercial and quota envelope of the AlloyScan instance.
This section keeps two related surfaces together because they answer one operational question: what is this instance entitled to, and how much of that entitlement is being consumed?
Note: This page covers instance-level administration in App Management. It is used by Global Administrators.

Two pages, one topic set
The Billing area has two distinct pages:

| License Information | Shows the current instance license, entitlement values, recharge day, and the Upload license action |
| Limits and usage | Shows consumption against those entitlements over time |
They belong together:
- License Information explains what the instance is licensed for
- Limits and usage shows how the instance is consuming that license
Instance scope vs Site scope
App Management billing is instance-wide. It is not the same as the per-Site Limits and usage page under Site Settings.

Use the App Management pages when you need to reason about the full deployment. Use the Site Settings page when you need to reason about one tenant's consumption or caps.
