About Data Grids

Data grids present records in rows and columns throughout AlloyScan. Use them to search, sort, filter, group, format, and export data without changing the underlying records.

Inventory provides the most complete set of grid features, including custom columns, advanced filters, grouping, conditional formatting, saved views, row selection, and bulk actions. Grids in Software, Network, Analytics, and Admin Center use the same general pattern, but the available controls and actions can differ by location.

Common grid tasks

• Use Filter items to search the loaded rows.
• Sort or filter individual columns to narrow the result set.
• Open Customize View to choose columns and access the options supported by that grid.
• Save a view when you need to reuse the same layout and filters.
• Export all rows, or selected rows where selection is available, to CSV or XLSX.
• Select Load all before an all-row operation when the grid is limited to the top 1,000 records and you need the complete result set.
