Managing Technician accounts

Introduced in 2022.1

Technician accounts are user accounts created for technical staff members who work with Alloy Navigator Express.

NOTE: The number of Technician Accounts you can create may be limited by your Alloy Navigator Express license. For details, see Licensing models.

As all other types of Alloy Navigator Express accounts, Technician accounts are managed from the Accounts and Roles > Accounts section and clicking New section. Operations available for management of Technician accounts are the following:

• Creating Technician accounts

• Changing the Technician account type

• Disabling or enabling user accounts

• Converting Alloy Navigator Express accounts

• Modifying login

• Changing password

• Managing technician role membership

• Viewing effective permissions of Technician accounts

• Viewing workflow actions for Technician accounts

• Removing Alloy Navigator Express accounts
