FOR CLOUD CUSTOMERS: This guide applies to on-premises deployments of Alloy Navigator Express. If you are using Alloy Navigator Cloud (SaaS), refer to Alloy Navigator Express Cloud (SaaS).

This Installation Guide targets IT professionals who install and perform initial configuration of Alloy Navigator Express—an integrated Service Desk and Asset Management solution for small and medium business. The document describes system requirements and installation procedures, including installing Alloy Navigator Express, creating a database, migrating from a previous version, configuring server components, installing and configuring web applications and the API module.

This Installation Guide is written both for customers who already have an earlier version of the product installed on premises and for customers who are going to install the product on-premises for the first time. So, after you have considered some important points described in the Planning the Installation section, you may not need to read the whole document. Depending on whether you are upgrading Alloy Navigator Express 2026 or installing it from scratch, you can go straight to the section that applies to you.
