Service Request records

Service Requests are listed in the Service Requests grid. To access the Service Requests grid, select either Service Desk > Service Requests in the Sidebar, or Go > Service Requests from the main menu.

NOTE: You create a Service Request directly from the Service Requests grid or from the Service Catalog by performing the Submit Request workflow action. For details, see Submitting Service Requests.

The top pane of an open service request record window displays the number and the summary of the Service Request on the left and the following fields on the right:

  • Ticket - displays the automatically generated identification number of the Service Request.

  • Status - shows the status of the Service Request. The list of statuses is configured by your Alloy Navigator administrator.
