Managing Alloy Discovery accounts

To allow a user access Alloy Discovery, you must create and configure an Alloy Discovery account. Before you begin working with accounts, read the following:

• Authentication types

• Licensing models

• Setting password complexity

• Types of Alloy Discovery accounts

In the Accounts and Roles > Accounts section of the Settings App, you can perform the following actions:

• Adding Alloy Discovery accounts

• Modifying Alloy Discovery accounts

• Changing the account type

• Disabling or enabling accounts

• Changing password

• Managing user role membership

• Viewing effective permissions of Alloy Discovery accounts

• Removing Alloy Discovery accounts
