Changing password

If your users have accounts with standard SQL Server authentication, you are able to change their passwords from the Settings App.

To change the password for an account:

1. In the Settings App, go to Accounts and Roles > Accounts.

2. Double-click the account to modify. The User Account window opens.

3. Click Change Password. The Change Password window opens.

NOTE: For accounts with Windows authentication the Change Password button is disabled.

4. Type in a new password in the New Password field and retype it in the Confirm Password field.

5. Click OK to save new password.

6. Click OK.
