Using the Quick Filter

You can apply the Quick Filter in the following ways:

• Filtering by field values

• Filtering by an excluded field’s value

• Filtering with the Filter Row

• Filtering by custom criteria

Once you apply a quick filter, the filtering condition appears in the Condition Panel.

From the Condition Panel, you can perform the following tasks:

• Modifying a filter

• Saving a filter to a file

• Applying a previously used filter

• Applying a saved filter

• Disabling quick filters

• Removing quick filters

NOTE: By default, Network Inventory converts the Quick Filter into the Advanced Filter, when you save a grid view (for details, see Working with views). To disable automatic conversion, clear the check box in the Advanced Filter Options section of the Advanced Preferences.
