Configuring a Latest Activities widget
The Latest Activities widget displays a list of most recent activities performed on Alloy Navigator Express objects and allows opening those objects directly from the dashboard.
You specify properties of a new Latest Activities widget or modify properties of an existing widget of this type using the Latest Activities Widget Properties window (see below for details).

General section - specifies general properties of the widget:
Name - an "internal" name of the widget, which identifies it in widget lists.
Title - a widget title, which will be actually displayed in
Allow to minimize widget - specifies whether users can minimize this widget.
Hide widget when data is not available - specifies whether the widget will be hidden when there is no data to display.
Data section - specifies object classes to display in the widget. If no object classes are specified, the widget displays most recent activities of all object classes. For each object class, you can specify additional filtering conditions.
New - opens the Selection Rule window for adding a new object class.
Edit - opens the Selection Rule window for editing a selected object class.
Delete - deletes a selected object class.
Customize button - opens the Customize Table window, where you can choose objects fields to display in the widget and configure conditional formatting.
Preview button - opens the Widget Preview window, where you can see how the widget will look according to the specified settings and the data it is built on.
Display Properties section - specifies the following options:
Preview Activity Details and limit the number of lines to - enables displaying Activity Details texts for each activity record, truncated to a specified number of lines.
Retrieve records for the last <x>days- retrieves from the database only recent activity records for the specified period of time.
Limit the number of records to display to - limits the total number of records displayed in the widget to a specified value.
Height - specifies the widget height in pixels.
