Project Task records

A Project Task is a work item inside of a Project. It represents a finite amount of work smaller than the Project. Project Task records are listed in the Tasks grid. To access the Tasks grid, open the Project - Tasks tab of the Project.

The top pane of an open Task record window displays the number and the summary of the Task on the left and its status and priority on the right.

TIP: You can also manage Tasks assigned to you from the My Tasks grid. For details, see Working with your Tasks .

Below the top pane, the following tabs are available:

• Custom Data tab (optional)

• Sub-Tasks tab

• Related Objects tab

• Notes tab

• Attachments tab
