Object record structure

The Alloy Navigator database contains records for various types of objects, such as Incidents, Change Requests, SLAs, Services, Computers, Networks, Persons, Organizations, Assets, Purchase Orders, and many others. This section describes the basic structure of object records.

Object records display the information about objects organized in a number of tabs. The following tabs are typical for various types of object records:

• General tab

• Activity tab

• Approvals tab

• Custom Data tab (optional)

• Related Objects tab

• Notes tab

• Attachments tab

• History tab

Also, object records have additional tabs that show information specific for this object type.

Above the tabs, an open object record displays the basic identification data, such are record ID, and other essential information about the record.

On the right of the tabs, the Action Bar appears that includes actions configured for this type of objects by your Alloy Navigator administrator. This bar also includes the detail reports available for this object.
