Managing layouts

A dashboard layout is a grid of cells, i.e. a combination of rows and columns, where widgets are positioned. Each dashboard has its own layout, which is defined during dashboard creation or modification. In addition to each dashboard's own layout, you can create supplementary reusable layouts. These layouts can be quickly applied to any dashboard, which makes the process of dashboard creation or modification fast and simple.

NOTE: The advantage of reusable layouts is that they can be applied to dashboards not only by the administrator, but also by technicians working in the Desktop App. However, to be able to do this, the user must have the Local Dashboard Customization security permission.

NOTE: Currently, local dashboard customization is not available in the Web App.

You can manage dashboard layouts in the General > Dashboard Management > Layouts section as follows:
