Select Inventory Server
The Inventory Serveris required for performing automated tasks in Alloy Discovery.
Inventory Server - specifies the Inventory Server for performing the snapshot files import.

If there is only one Inventory Server instance registered in the database and this instanceis not running, you cannot proceed with the wizard. In this case, configure the Inventory Server first and restart the wizard. For detailed information about Inventory Servers, see Inventory Server Manager.
NOTE: To register an Inventory Server, run the Inventory Server Manager on the machine where the server is installed. For detailed information about managing Inventory Server, see Inventory Server Manager.

If there are multiple Inventory Server instances registered in the database, the wizard will display the list of all available instances. To proceed with the wizard, choose one of the running Inventory Servers. If no instance is running, configure the Inventory Server first and restart the wizard. For detailed information about managing Inventory Servers, see Inventory Server Manager. When applicable, the assigned Inventory Server can be changed, for details, see Modifying Site Properties.

If you are uploading the snapshots from within the Portable Audit Source, this page will be skipped. The import operation will be performed by the Inventory Server associated with the corresponding Site. For details, see Portable Audit.
Click Next to proceed.
NOTE: If there is only one Inventory Server registered in the database and this instance is running, this server is automatically chosen to perform the task, so that the Import Snapshots from Media Wizard will not show you the Inventory Server page.
