Custom audit fields

The Custom Audit Fields page in the Customization section allows administrators to configure custom fields. Using these fields, you extend audit data for both on-premises devices (such as Windows computers or SNMP devices) and cloud resources (such as AWS and Azure).

Combining custom fields across device types

You can create custom fields with the same purpose (such as "Uptime") for different device types - Windows computers, SNMP devices, or cloud resources - and display them as a single unified column in the Inventory data view.

To do this:

1. Create individual custom fields for each device type.

2. Assign the same label to both fields.

3. In combined views, these fields will be merged and displayed as a single column with that label.
