Relationships tab

On the Relationships tab, you can see the list of all objects related to the open object and manage these relationships.

You can view relationships either as an interactive map (Viewing the Relationships map), or as a grid. From both views you can:

  • Open any related object to view (double-click the relationship to open the Preview form) or edit its details (click the Edit button on the Preview form).

  • Create, modify, or delete a relationship between this object and another one (for details, see Relating objects).

Additionally, in View as map mode you can perform workflow actions on relationships directly from the relationship map. Clicking More Options (the icon with three vertical dots) next to a relationship opens a context menu, presenting you with a range of actions to choose from.

The list of relationships includes:

  • The objects directly related to the main object by using the commands on the Relationships tab. For these relationships you can perform the following actions:

  • The objects related through other commands, which are displayed at the same time in the Related Asset field on the General tab of the Ticket window . These relations are available on this tab for viewing only. You can change these relations by editing the relevant fields.

    TIP: The Related Assets are available for the Service Desk Tickets only.

  • The objects related to the relationships. The relationships are shown as a hierarchical grid tree or as a map (see Viewing the Relationships map.
