Summary Reports

Summary reports display information from the records of a particular object class, such as Computers, Tickets, Organizations, etc. Alloy Navigator Express Express is equipped with the rich set of predefined summary reports for all classes of objects.

The Reports module consists of a number of reports where each report can be related to an unlimited number of categories (for details, see Categorizing objects). All the report categories are organized in the hierarchical tree of folders (for details, see Managing summary report categories). You can use report categories to find appropriate reports within the Reports component.

To access all summary reports, on the menu bar, click Reports > Reports.

Alloy Navigator Express supports the following operations with summary reports:

• Running summary reports

• Managing summary report categories

• Renaming summary reports

• Customizing summary report layouts

• Saving summary report layouts to external report files

• Replacing summary reports with external report files

• Updating summary reports to the latest version

• Creating summary reports

• Deleting summary reports
