Customizing regional settings
In the Customization > General > Regional Settings section, you can customize the formats Alloy Navigator Express uses to display currency and time duration values.
Currency format
By default, Alloy Navigator Express displays currency values, such as Unit Price, using the same format as the computer where the administrator ran the Database Management tool to create the database. You can change this format, if needed. These currency format settings apply to all Alloy Navigator Express modules, including the Web App, Self Service Portal, and mobile apps, and the Desktop App.
IMPORTANT: The currency format you specify here may not apply to workflow notifications and reports. For details, see Alloy Navigator Express How-to: How to configure regional settings for Alloy Navigator Express.
To change the currency format:

Under Currency Format, in the Currency symbol field, enter the currency symbol. Examples: $ (U.S. dollar), € (Euro), £ (pound sterling), ¥ (Japanese yen, Chinese yuan).

In the Positive currency format field, choose the format for displaying positive currency values.

In the Negative currency format field, choose the format for displaying negative currency values.

In the No. of digits after decimal field, specify the number of digits after the decimal point in currency values.

Click Save on the Standard toolbar to apply your changes.
Then restart Internet Information Services (IIS) on your web server to apply new regional settings to Alloy web and mobile apps.
To set the system default settings for currency:

Click the Reset button. This sets your system default regional settings for currency.
The system default regional settings for currency is the currency format on the computer where the administrator ran the Database Management wizard to create the database.

Click Save on the Standard toolbar.
Then restart Internet Information Services (IIS) on your web server to apply new regional settings to Alloy web and mobile apps.
Duration format
When Alloy Navigator Express displays duration values, such as Time Spent, in grids, it uses the format specified in the Settings App. You can change the default format, if needed.
To change the duration format:

Under Duration Format, in the Time duration format field, enter the format. The notations mean: HH - Hours and NN - miNutes.

In the When duration is less than 1 hour field, enter the format for short time periods (less than 60 minutes).

Click Save on the Standard toolbar.
Then restart Internet Information Services (IIS) on your web server to apply new regional settings to Alloy web and mobile apps.
