Project Task records

A Project Task is a work item inside of a Project. It represents a finite amount of work smaller than the Project. Project Task records are listed in the Tasks grid. To access the Tasks grid, open the Project - Tasks tab of the Project or click Go >Project Tasks from the main menu.

The top pane of an open Task record window displays the number and the summary of the Task on the left and the following fields on the right:

Task - shows the automatically generated number of the Task.

Status - displays the status of the Task. The list of Task statuses is defined by your Alloy Navigator administrator.

TIP: You can also manage Tasks assigned to you from the My Tasks grid. For details, see Working with your Tasks .
