Adding, changing, or removing pictures for Service Catalog items

The General tab of the Service Catalog Item detail window allows you to add, change, or remove the picture of an Item. Alloy Navigator supports any .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, or .png images. The uploaded image will be scaled to the appropriate size automatically.

NOTE: By default, pictures are not included in any grid views for Service Catalog items. To show the column in a particular view you should modify the view configuration and add the Picture field as needed. For details, see Showing and hiding record fields.

• To add a picture for a Service Catalog Item:

  1. Open the Service Catalog Item record.

  2. On the General tab, click the picture area. Alternatively, you can right-click the picture area, and then click Change Picture or press CTRL+R.

  3. Browse to the picture and double-click it.

  4. Save the Service Catalog Item record.

• To change a picture of a Service Catalog Item:

  1. Open the Service Catalog Item record.

  2. On the General tab, double-click the picture. Alternatively, you can right-click the picture area, and then click Change Picture or press CTRL+R.

  3. Browse to the picture and double-click it.

  4. Save the Service Catalog Item record.

• To remove a picture from SC Item records:

  1. Open the Service Catalog Item record.

  2. On the General tab, right-click the picture, and then click Remove Picture. Alternatively, you can remove the picture by pressing CTRL+O.

  3. Save the Service Catalog Item record.

• To copy a picture to the Clipboard:

  1. Open the Service Catalog Item record.

  2. Right-click the picture, and then click Copy. Your picture is in the Clipboard.
