Configuring Collections
You configure a Collection when you create or edit it.
To create a Computer Collection, do either of the following:

Select File > New > Computer Collection from the main menu.

In the Sidebar, right-click Collections or Computers under Collections and select New Computer Collection from the pop-up menu.

In the Sidebar, double-click the last line in the Computers subsection under Collections.
To create a Chromebook Collection, do either of the following:

Select File > New > Chromebook Collection from the main menu.

In the Sidebar, right-click Collections or Chromebooks under Collections and select New Chromebook Collection from the pop-up menu.

In the Sidebar, double-click the last line in the Chromebooks subsection under Collections.
To create a Device Collection, do either of the following:

Select File > New > Device Collection from the main menu.

In the Sidebar, right-click Collections or NetworkDevices under Collections and select New Device Collection from the pop-up menu.

In the Sidebar, double-click the last line in the Network Devices subsection under Collections.
To edit the properties of an existing Collection:

In the Sidebar, right-click the Collection and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
The properties of a Computer/Chromebook/Device Collection are shown in the Collection [Collection Name ] window and organized on the following tabs: General, Static Members, and Inclusion Rules.
General tab
On this tab, you can view and edit the name of the Collection and its description.
Name - shows the name of the Collection (required).
Type - shows the type of the Collection (Computer Collection, Chromebook Collection or Network Device Collection).
Description - displays the textual description of the Collection.
Static Members tab
On this tab, you can add and remove static Collection members. Any Node can be a member of multiple Collections.
To manage static members of the Collection:

To add one or more members to the Collection, select these network nodes in the Available pane and click Add. To add all available computers/devices, click Add All.

To remove one or more members from the Collection, select these network nodes in the Collection Members pane and click Remove. To remove all members, click Remove All.
Inclusion Rules tab
This tab shows the criteria for adding network nodes to this Collection. The criteria are a combination of logical expressions (rules) based on the values reported in audit snapshots.
You can work with the inclusion rules using the following buttons:

- opens the Inclusion Rule window, where you can create an inclusion rule.

- opens the Inclusion Rule window, where you can modify the selected rule.

- deletes the selected rule.
You can select one of the following options:

Include Items That Match All Rules - click All Rules if you want to include in the Collection only those nodes that match all rules in the list.

Include Items That Match Any of Rules - click Any of Rules if you want to include in the Collection any Node that matches at least one inclusion rule.
