Batch-updating fields in multiple records

When you perform the batch update, you add or replace the values of specified fields in multiple records with the same specified values. You can apply the batch update to the records in the same grid.

To batch-update records:

1. Select the records where you want to update the fields. For details, see Selecting multiple records.

2. Click Actions > Batch Update on the Module menu. The Batch Update window opens.

3. Select the check boxes for the fields which values you want to update and click Next.

   NOTE: You can add more fields by clicking the Back button and repeating the previous step.

4. Specify new values and click Start.

   NOTE: Updating fields may fire workflow Triggers. If you want to suppress all applicable Triggers during this batch update, select the Ignore workflow triggers during the batch update check box. This option is available for Alloy Navigator Express administrators only (the Administrative Access permission is required).

5. Click Finish.
