When exporting configuration, you can choose whether to mark the export file as a Complete pack.
If the file is marked as Complete pack, it is treated as a replacement package. During import, you can choose Overwrite the existing workflow for all objects to replace the existing business logic in the target system with the configuration from the file.
If the file is not marked as Complete pack, overwrite is not available during import. Imported settings are added to the existing configuration instead of replacing it.
In other words, the Complete pack option determines whether the exported file can later be used to replace business logic or only to extend it.
To export configuration settings:
-
On the Workflow and Business Logic page, click Export and Import and select Export Settings.

If needed, modify the export file name.
-
Optionally enter a description.
-
Click Export settings.
-
When Alloy Navigator Express informs that the export has completed successfully, click OK.
