New Network Node Wizard - Network Node Type

On this page, define the type of a Network Node you want to add to Network Inventory database.

To specify the Network Node type:

In the Network Node Type drop-down list, choose the type of the node to create, such as computer, Chromebook, or network device.

NOTE: For Computer, you will specify the OS type on the next wizard's page.

For Network Device, specify the Network Device Type, such as printer, router, switch, UPS, etc.

NOTE: Custom types of network devices may be configured by the Network Inventory administrator.

Click Next.
