Registry Keys
The Registry Keys section allows you to enable the Windows Inventory Analyzer to scan the registry for specific keys and report their values.
NOTE: The Registry Keys options are applicable only for Windows computers. When auditing Linux and Mac computers, these options are ignored.
All the registry key fields available in this section are configured by the Network Inventory administrator (Configuring registry key fields for Network Inventory) and automatically enabled in all audit profiles. You can view the details of a registry key field, disable the capture of a registry key, or re-enable disabled capture.
To view the details of a registry key field:
-
Double-click the registry key field to bring up the Registry Key window.
To disable the capture of a registry key:
-
Clear the check box for the registry key in the Include column.
To re-enable the capture of a registry key:
-
Select the check box for the registry key in the Include column.
NOTE: By default, registry key fields are not included in any grid views for Computers. To show the column in a particular view you should modify the view configuration and add registry key fields as needed.
