Audit Snapshot

Audit snapshots, or snapshots, are the end result of your audit. A snapshot contains up-to-the-minute hardware and software inventory details of the audited computer.

Depending on audit settings, computer snapshots consist of the following files:

• ADT - an .adt file is always created during the audit of a computer (for Chromebook devices, it is .adtx);

• SCN - an .scn file is created together with an .adt file if Network Inventory is configured to scan drives for files.

To display snapshot information, Network Inventory uses the Audit Snapshot Viewer.
