Customizing toolbars
You can turn on and off the display of the Standard Toolbar, the GoTo Toolbar, and any custom toolbars you’ve created. (You can’t turn off the menu bar.) You can add new custom toolbars, and delete or rename them. After adding or removing any commands, you can reset the Standard Toolbar and GoTo Toolbar to their default configurations.
To customize the display of toolbars:

Right-click the menu bar or any toolbar to display the pop-up menu.

Click Customize to open the Customize window. Choose any of the following:

To turn off the Standard Toolbar, GoTo Toolbar, or a custom toolbar you’ve created, clear the Standard box, GoTo box, or the name box for a custom toolbar. To turn any of these back on, select the appropriate check boxes.

To delete a custom toolbar, select the toolbar and click Delete.

To rename a custom toolbar, select the toolbar and click Rename. In the Rename Toolbar window, enter the new name and click OK.

To reset Standard Toolbar or GoTo Toolbar, select a toolbar and click Reset.

Click Close.
NOTE: You can also turn the Standard, GoTo, and custom toolbars on or off by selecting or clearing the Standard, GoTo or custom toolbar check boxes on the pop-up menu for toolbars.
