The Automation Server requires a significant amount of system resources. When your organization has more than 1000 computers or there are more than 5 technicians working with Alloy Navigator Express, we recommend that you install the Automation Server on a dedicated server computer, separate from your Microsoft SQL Server instance for the Alloy Navigator Express database.
NOTE: This does not mean the server computer must be exclusively dedicated to hosting the Automation Server. For details, see Installation Guide: Server Machine Requirements.
You configure and register the Automation Server using the Automation Server Manager. You can start the Automation Server Manager as follows:
