New Alert Wizard

The New Alert Wizard helps you to configure a Network Inventory alert.

To start the wizard, go to Network Inventory > Administrative Alerts and click New on the Module menu.

It is recommended to set up the outgoing e-mail before creating the alert (for details, see Configuring outgoing e-mail notifications). In case you configure the e-mail settings after audit data has been uploaded, the alert record appears in the Alert Log (for details, see Viewing Network Inventory Alert Log) but the notification can not be sent out.
