Choose whether you want to flip the databases when switching the pilot database to production.

Switch and Flip

Switch the pilot database to production and flip the databases. Flipping will replace your existing production database with your fully configured and synched pilot database. Your old production database will be taken offline and renamed [DatabaseName]_SAVE to back it up. Then the pilot database will take the name of your original production database, effectively replacing it.

Flipping the databases eliminates the need to retire your old database and distribute the new Database Management Key to server computers and technician's workstations, reducing the administrative burden.
Switch

Switch the pilot database to production. Your original production database will remain unchanged. Then you can begin the production use of your fully configured and synched pilot database.
