Project - Tasks tab - Board

Introduced in 2025.1

This article describes the Kanban board, a visual way to manage the progress of project tasks. It displays all tasks associated with the project as cards, grouped into columns by their current status. This layout helps you track work at a glance and update tasks directly from the board.

Each task card displays essential information, such as the task number, planned end date, priority, and assignee. You can quickly identify what needs attention and take action without opening individual task records.

Managing tasks

You can manage project tasks directly from the board. Click the hamburger icon on any card to open the context menu and perform various actions, such as opening the task record, triggering workflow actions, managing relationships, or deleting the task.

This allows you to work with tasks efficiently in a visual format, without switching tabs.

Customizing the board

To adjust the board layout, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner. This opens the customization pane, where you can:

  • Show or hide specific columns (statuses)

  • Filter tasks (e.g., by priority or assignee)

  • Change the sort order of tasks within columns

For more information about customization, see Working with boards.

NOTE: Each project has a single board. Customizations apply globally to that board and are shared across users. You cannot create multiple boards or switch between saved layouts.
