General tab

The General tab of the Equipment Reservation details window displays and allows you to modify the general properties of the Reservation in the following fields and sections:

  • ID - displays the auto-generated number of the Reservation.

  • Status - shows the status of the Reservation. The list of Reservation statuses is defined by your Alloy Navigator administrator.

  • Request section - contains the main properties of the Reservation:

    • Requester - the Requester of the Reservation on the specified Library Item (not necessarily the user who submitted the Reservation).

    • Library Item - the Library Item that is requested by the Reservation.

NOTE: When the Library Item and Requester fields are filled out, you can open the corresponding Library Item and Person records by clicking the captions of these fields that are displayed as hyperlinks. The referenced objects will open in a sliding view forms. To access its full form, click a circle edit icon.

  • Categorization section - displays and allows you to modify the type of the Reservation in the Type field.

  • Reservation section - displays and allows you to modify the period of the reservation:

    • Reservation Date From - the start date of the Reservation.

    • Reservation Date To - the end date of the Reservation.

The General tab may also display various user-defined fields in an additional section if your Alloy Navigator administrator has configured them accordingly. The default name of this section is "Custom Data", although your Alloy Navigator administrator may have renamed this section.

NOTE: User-defined fields can appear also on the Custom Data tab (this is the default name of the tab; it can be renamed by your Alloy Navigator administrator).
