Deleting data segments

If a data segment is not used in your business processes, and you do not need this value in the database, you can permanently delete it.

To delete items from a drop-down list:

1. In the Users & SecurityAccounts and Roles > Data Segments section, select one or several segments that you want to delete.

2. Click Delete.

NOTE: The IT data segment is marked as system. Alloy Navigator relies on this value, so it cannot be deleted.
