In order to work with date and time values, such as the Due Date for tickets or the Received Date for assets, the API module must know the time zone that Alloy Navigator uses. Typically, this is the time zone of the SQL server hosting the Alloy Navigator database. If SQL Server and IIS are on separate computers, we recommend that they are configured to be in the same time zone.
During the initial configuration of the API module, the Web Configuration tool suggests the time zone of the IIS server where the API is installed. If needed, you can modify this setting and specify the time zone manually.
INFO: For details on using the time zone in date and time values, see the API User’s Guide: Date and Time Format.
