System Parsing Rule

Alloy Navigator has a built-in parsing rule for extracting the object identifier (ID). This rule uses the MessageID Tag.

The MessageID Tag is a system tag that contains a specially formatted object ID. Alloy Navigator may automatically insert that MessageID Tag in outgoing notifications. All threaded replies to these notifications will also contain the MessageID Tag.

The Mail Connector searches e-mail messages for the MessageID Tag. If found, the object ID is extracted and saved in a special virtual field for further processing by the workflow engine.

You can create additional parsing rules for extracting almost any kinds of information from e-mail messages.
