Adding Person records

The methods for creating Person records are the same as for the object records of any other class. For instructions, see Adding records.

In addition, Person records can be automatically created by the following Alloy Navigator modules:

  • The Active Directory Synchronization tool allows you to auto-add Person records based on the user data imported from the Active Directory.

  • The Discovery Connector lets auto-creating Person records from the audit data collected by Alloy Discovery.

  • The Mail Connector enables auto-creation of Person records based on e-mail messages converted to Service Desk Tickets.

  • The Self Service Portal creates new Person records for the portal customers after their self-registration.

You can edit these auto-created records. If there is more than one Person record for same person, you can merge these records.
