Hardware records

Hardware records contain technical information about various hardware devices. To track financial information about hardware records in your organization, you can associate hardware records with asset records.

To access this Hardware grid, select either Configuration Management > Hardware in the Sidebar, or Go > Hardware from the main menu.

The top pane of an open Hardware record window displays the name, ID and the status of the Hardware device.

Below the top pane, the following tabs are available:

• General tab

• Activity tab

• Configuration tab

• Software tab

• Finance tab

• Custom Data tab (optional)

• Related Objects tab

• Ticket History tab

• Notes tab

• Attachments tab

• History tab
