Choosing Authentication Method

You can configure the Self Service Portal for Windows authentication or Standard authentication. Standard authentication enables you to configure single sigh-on (SSO) and LDAP authentication.

LDAP authentication allows users to sign in to Alloy Navigator by providing their domain credentials. SSO authentication allows users to sign in to Alloy Navigator under their existing Microsoft 365, Okta, or Google accounts.

INFO: For details about automatic account creation for SSP customers, available for each authentication type, see Administration Guide: Creating SSP Customer Accounts Automatically.
