What's new in version 6.1

Version 6.1.0 improves audit of virtual machines, includes a number of other enhancements, and resolves issues reported in previous versions.

Improved support for Windows 10. Now the Inventory Analyzer reports the OS Version and OS Build numbers. The Audit Snapshot Viewer shows the OS Version number in the OS Version field (System Overview > Overview).

Now the Inventory Analyzer reports additional information about local printers. The Audit Snapshot Viewer shows this data in the Peripherals > Printers section.

Improved SMBIOS data processing for Microsoft virtual machines. Both Windows and Linux inventory analyzers disregard empty memory slots, CPU sockets, and slots for CPU cache devices.

Now the Inventory Analyzer reports MAC addresses for virtual machines managed by VMware Workstation and Oracle VM VirtualBox.

Now the Inventory Analyzer collects names and configuration locations of virtual machines managed by VMware Workstation, Oracle VM VirtualBox, and Microsoft Hyper-V software. New data is shown in the Overview > Virtual Machines section ofhe Audit Snapshot Viewer.

Now the Inventory Analyzer filters out placeholder values for CPU socket (slot) types.

OS Architecture values no longer contain non-Latin characters.

The Inventory Analyzer no longer reports BIOS manufacturers instead of BIOS dates.

The previous version (6.0.1) of the standalone Inventory Analyzer mistakenly required administrative rights. Now it can be run under a standard user account.

The Audit Snapshot Viewer now shows SMBIOS information. The new data appears in the Hardware > SMBIOS section.

Now the Audit Snapshot Viewer displays User Office details collected from Active Directory. The new data appears in the User > User Information > Active Directory Details section.

Now the Audit Snapshot Viewer provides grid customization options in the Software > Programs and Software > Task Scheduler sections when working with snapshots of Windows computers.

The Audit Snapshot Viewer no longer cuts off the display area on low-resolution screens. Now a vertical scrollbar is provided.

The Audit Snapshot Viewer no longer cuts off hotfix IDs in the Windows Update section.

Now the Audit Snapshot Viewer correctly sorts grouped records in the Task Scheduler grid.

Single-clicking a record in the Windows Features grid no longer accidentally launches the Windows Feature form.
