Scanning the network

This article explains how to scan your network using AlloyScan.

To start, open the Network section and select one of the segments. Next, click Scan on top of the Details section.

AlloyScan will start building a list of computers and network devices that were detected on the network. Upon completion, a summary of the scan will appear.

The summary includes the total number of discovered nodes and some basic information about them, such as NetBIOS name, IP address, DNS name, etc.
