Finding settings in the Admin Center

This article describes how to use Admin Center search to quickly find settings in Alloy Navigator Express without navigating through categories and pages.

NOTE: Admin Center search is currently in preview. It is fully functional, but some settings may not appear in search results yet.

Finding a setting

To search for a setting:

1. Click the Search Admin Center box at the top of the page, or press Ctrl+K.

2. Start typing keywords related to the setting you want to find.

   Matching results appear as you type. You do not need to enter complete words. Search can match partial words, including fragments of several words in the same query. For example, entering ai fe can find AI Features.

3. Review the search results. Each result shows the setting together with its location in Admin Center.

4. Select a result to go directly to that setting.

Recent search results

When you open Admin Center search before entering a new query, it may show your recent search results. Select any result to quickly return to a setting you previously accessed through search.

Admin Center search complements standard navigation: browse the Admin Center when you know where a setting is located, or use search when you know what you need but not where to find it.
