Database Files

This page displays the properties of the new database files (their names, locations, and initial sizes) and allows you to configure them.

You can change these settings by editing the field values.

To change the file location:

• Click the ellipsis button in the respective Location field and browse for the desired location.

To spread data across multiple files or disks:

• Click Add in the corresponding section to define secondary data files and their additional transaction log files.
