Creating a database

Once Network Inventory is installed, you should create a database to start working with the product.
To create a new database, run the Database Management wizard, choose Create New Database on the first Task page, and follow the on-screen instructions.
IMPORTANT: Creating a database requires membership in the "sysadmin" fixed server role on the SQL server. These credentials will only be used for creating the database and will not be stored.
