After you have customized the visual aspects of a data grid, you can save your settings for further use as a data view. A view is a particular visual representation of a data grid. Each module (component) has one or more data views already created for your convenience.
There are two types of views in Alloy Navigator Express:
-
Personal (local) views: Available for you only. You can create new local views and copy, rename, or delete the existing ones.
-
Shared views: Available not only to you but also to other Alloy Navigator Express users. You can share your local views.
When you access an Alloy Navigator Express component, the data is displayed using either the default view for that component or using the view you chose last.
